With the holiday fast approaching, and another year flying by, it’s never too early to start a little online shopping. Or at least a little online browsing... This year, in my never ending quest to seek out eco friendly gifts and ideas that are a less ‘patchouli’ and a little more chic, I have decided to highlight some of my favourite sites for this year. CLOTHING Okay, I usually never want anyone to buy me clothes for the holidays, but a gift certificate never hurts, so if your looking for inspiration – or just shopping for yourself try these: The Green Loop- Super casual, fun site, a lot of information about the quality of the apparel – the highlight all the A Lot to Say clothing. Organic Clothing Boutique- I always find that while shopping for organic clothing, you always find a lot of yoga wear, the highlight of this site – some great dresses Jonano- Eco chic with amazing graphic prints BEAUTY Bath products always find themselves in my stocking each year; I wonder what that says about me... Either I need a wash, or I just appreciate smelling good, I’ll go with the latter. L' Occitane- How can you not love the scents of Provence – I am expecting this in my stocking Natures Basin - This site has everything, from makeup to hair care, to men’s shaving cream- He’s getting the travel kit this year, because i’d like to see him use the little brush it comes with... Ecco Bella - Lovely make up kits, the highlight – the elite collection TOYS Of course the holiday is always about kids toys, so here are three sites to check out this year. Miyim has the cutest plushees.... Miyim - check out the Cat in the Hat blanket GIFTS Gift sets always seem to fill a void, you can feel like your giving something really useful, and its fun to open a gift set and appreciate each item individually – try these two sites for inspiration: HOSTESS GIFT IDEAS Granted, I have yet to ever received a hostess gift, perhaps I am inviting all the wrong people to my parties...
